The factory was founded in 1959, initially
for manufacture of crawler shovels as a
subsidiary of Furukawa Mining Co., then
gradually enlarged its manufacture of a wide
range of compact construction machinery. The
factory obtained ISO9001 certificate in 1999
and ISO14001 in 2004 respectively, and
during these period, Hitachi Constraction
Machinery (HCM) became the co-owner of the
company for manufacturing world well
reputable compact Wheel Loaders as well as
Step-in Loaders, Wood Chippers, Wheel
Shovels. In 2006, TCM took the initiative to
acquire this company, which will certainly
further tighten relationship with HCM as
well as expand the entire product line of
TCM's construction machinery to meet its
customers various needs and requirements at
their worksites.

The
Shiga plant has grown from its beginning as a site for
the production of forklift trucks to a diversified
facility for the manufacture of material handling
equipment ranging from a full range of forklift trucks
to high-tech machines such as AGV. This very productive
plant attains high repute as an environmentally comfort
works. As a matter of fact, the plant was awarded an
honorable accolade, given only to the top twenty works
among more than sixteen hundred candidates located
worldwide, under TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
program in 2002, in addition to several awards of
excellence in recognition of its status as a
leading-edge production facility. The comprehensive
forklift part and component centre is also located in
this site, from where the part supply unit of C.S. Div.
is efficiently and smoothly delivering all necessary
parts required by worldwide customers.

This
factory is the core for manufacturing a full range of TCM
loaders (wheel loaders and other loaders), as well as
various types of TCM feature products including custom-made
machines and systems meeting customers' special
requirements. In 2002, the plant was totally renovated and
revamped by newly installing the most up-to-date equipment
and facilities to be a leading rationalized and efficient
factory in the relevant industries. In fact, the plant is
the central manufacture site to produce the super quality
models of wheel loaders for manufacture alliance between TCM
and Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., and its subsidiary.
It encompasses 258,000m3,
including a test course accessible by vehicles weighing up
to 1,000 tons. TCM is also proud of its very modern
designing and engineer training facilities as well as well
organized part and components supply centre in the site.

(3) HZHS Factory
Locations:
Mukaishima,Onomichi-shi, Hiroshima
Prefecture, Japan
This plant is the main manufacture and assembling site of
large size products, in particular custom-made innovative
logistical equipment and systems for overseas as well as
domestic markets, as it is ideally located on an industrial
island in the Seto Inland Sea, near Onomichi, Hiroshima. As
the plant is equipped with the deep sea berth, able to
receive bulky materials and components, also to load very
heavy and lengthy finished products onto ocean going barges
and vessels, the plant has been successfully and
economically engaged in manufacture of the products such as
RTG, RMG and heavy duty transporter.
